IMITATE JESUS TOWARD WOMEN

model Jesus gave of manhood.
2. The present study considers the example of Jesus toward women.

I. JESUS' CONDUCT TOWARD MARY.
A. General information about His family life (Matthew 13:55,56).
B. Instances providing guidance by His example.
1. Luke 2:51.
2. John 2:4.
3. Matthew 12:46-50.
4. John 19:27-27.
II. JESUS' CONDUCT TOWARD THE WOMAN AT THE WELL (John 4).
A. No ill treatment was given, cordial and friendly discussion
was present.
B. Jesus presented truth and clarified it for her. Note
the various particulars from the context.
C. Jesus remained the teacher; the woman was able to discuss
the matters involved and talk with
her neighbors about Jesus.
D. Display of fine and proper concern, guidance, and interest.
III. JESUS PROTECTED THE VIRTUE OF WOMAN AND THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE.
A. Passage on the virtue of womanhood to be protected (Matthew
5:27,28).
B. Insights concerning protection of women in discussion of
marriage and divorce

CONCLUSION:
The dimensions of the example of Jesus are many; they extend
to men and women; they show us how to relate to each other and to those
among whom we live and work.
