NOAH - A VALIANT MAN
(Genesis 5-8)
INTRODUCTION:
A. Noah, whose name means "rest," is held up to all generations as a
righteous man, pleasing to God.
B. Noah was born about 1000 years after creation.
C. He was the tenth generation from Adam.
D. Noah was descended through the lineage of Seth (Genesis 4:26; 5:6-29).
E. Noah lived in a time of great evil (Genesis 4:16-23; 6:11,13).
DISCUSSION:
I. "...NOAH FOUND GRACE IN THE EYES OF THE LORD" (Genesis 6:8).
A. Noah was guided by God.

become entangled in it.

A. If we heed Noah's example we, too, can be delivered from a sinful
world.
