GOD IS FOR US (vv. 31-33)
  • He did not – spare His Son.
  • He did – deliver Him up for us all.
  • He will – freely give us all things.
  • He does – justify.

CHRIST IS FOR US (v. 34)
  • He is risen again.
  • He is at the right hand of God.
  • He is making intercession.

THESE ARE AGAINST US
(vv. 35,36)
  • Tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, sword.
  • A “proverb” from the Psalms (44:22):
    • For thy sake we are killed
    • all the day long;
    •   We are accounted as sheep
    • for the slaughter.

IN ALL OF THIS, WE ARE…
(vv. 37-39)
  • More than conquerors!
  • Persuaded!
  • Not going to separate ourselves from the love of God.

CONCLUSION
  • These are the covenant commitments:
    • God is for us.
    • Christ is for us.
    • All that is against us is doomed to fail.
    • We are more than conquerors.

This is the
